On the 13th of February 2020 the Department for International Trade (DIT) of the UK embassy in Madrid organized an informative seminar on the main changes in UK waste policies and new opportunities in the sector.
The strategy seeks to double the productivity of resources and eliminate all types of avoidable waste, including plastics, by 2050, moving towards a circular economy. The UK is making firm commitments for the coming years, with clear long-term political direction in line with the Plan for Environment.
Specialists from the British Government took part in the Seminar and new business opportunities in the sector were identified. The DIT explained the attendees how to help companies develop its business in the UK.
Ingelia was invited to participate as success stories of Spanish investors in the UK and how DIT has supported its expansion.
Networking opportunities with specialists and other participants were a very interesting part in the event
