Within the framework of the Santander Smart Talks program organized by Banco de Santander, the round table on the economic recovery was organized on June 30. The event was attended by Isabel Tocino Biscarolasaga, Vice President of Santander Spain, Alicia Muñoz Lombardía, Vice Secretary of the Board of Santander Spain, Marta Ainsa, Director of Responsible Banking of Santander Spain, Delia Gómez, Director of Sustainability of El Corte Inglés and Marisa Hernández Latorre, CEO of Ingelia.
Dialogues for the Economic Recovery has the objective of creating a space of thinking in which the managers and business(wo)men who attended the meeting could ask the guests about the challenges that companies are facing in the current environment in order to build the economy of the future.
Isabel Tocino, began the dialogue focusing her intervention on trusting to move forward with strength, trusting in the economy and in both Public and Private Institutions.
Next, Alicia Muñoz Lombardía emphasized Sustainable Finance as a contribution to recovery to overcome the crisis.
Then Marisa Hernández Latorre, Co-founder and CEO of Ingelia, focused her speech on the importance of Innovation in a circular economy: How to transform organic waste into biomaterials in a profitable and sustainable way, contributing to the circular economy and caring for the environment and job creation.
Delia García Gómez, presented the agenda of actions for the sustainability of El Corte Inglés aiming at turning the company into a large sustainable company.
Marta Ainsa Blanco, Director of Responsible Banking at Santander Spain spoke about Responsible Banking, a global strategy in response to the needs and demands of stakeholders.
