The R&D project “Development of an organic waste biorefinery system based on hydrothermal carbonization technology (HTC)” carried out by Ingelia at its industrial plant located in Náquera has received financial support from IVACE, which in turn, it has FEDER funds (European Regional Development Fund), through a 45% subsidy.
The project has been carried out between June 2019 and October 2020, with a budget of € 85k, with the main objective of investigating the use of the different mass streams that are produced in the hydrothermal carbonization process (HTC) of organic waste in order to obtain new bioproducts and improve the global efficiency of the biorefinery model.
