Winners of UNWTO-Ulysses Prize

The World Tourism Organization agency of United Nations (UNWTO), announced that the Artemisa Project, presented by Ingelia, has been awarded with 2011 Ulysses Award on the category of “Innovation in Business”, by proposing a solution for more sustainable tourism.

The Artemisa project proposes the integration of biomass carbonization plant in tourist destinations for the processing of organic waste generated, into a solid biofuel suitable for generating thermal energy, used in heating and cooling of the tourist destination itself.
