On the morning of March 30, the Regional Secretary for Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition, Ms. Paula Tuzón Marco, visited the HTC Plant that Ingelia operates in the municipality of Nàquera. The Regional Secretary who has held the position in the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition since June 21, 2019, visited the facilities and was interested in the treatment of organic waste and the technology of the Valencian company Ingelia, which manages to recover materials from different waste by transforming them into biochar for use as raw material in industry.
HTC technology, developed at an industrial level by the Valencian company Ingelia, the world leader in its sector, which holds 15 international patents in this field, allows different types of organic waste to be valorised with an optimal balance. Ingelia has installed 3 industrial plants in Europe and is working on an extensive portfolio of projects that it will carry out in the coming months.
The Regional Secretary went to Nàquera accompanied by her technical team and presented the CEO of Ingelia with a letter of support from the Generalitat Valenciana for the Ingelia project, as a demonstration of support and promotion of the circular economy and the creation of local value.
