INGELIA INVITED BY BANCO DE SANTANDER TO THE DIALOGUES FOR THE ECONOMIC RETURN

Diffusion of the event Dialogues for economic recovery

Within the framework of the Santander Smart Talks programme organised by Banco de Santander, a round table discussion on the economic recovery was held on 30 June. The event was attended by Isabel Tocino Biscarolasaga, Vice-President of Santander Spain, Alicia Muñoz Lombardía, Deputy Secretary of the Board of Santander Spain, Marta Ainsa, Director of Responsible Banking at Santander Spain, Delia Gómez, Director of Sustainability at El Corte Inglés, and Marisa Hernández Latorre, CEO of Ingelia.


Dialogues for Economic Recovery aims to create a space for thought in which executives and businesspeople attending the event can ask the guests about the challenges that companies face in the current environment in order to build the economy of the future.


Isabel Tocino began the dialogue by focusing her speech on the need to move forward with strength, confidence in the economy and in both public and private institutions.

Alicia Muñoz Lombardía then emphasized Sustainable Finance as a contribution to recovery and overcoming the crisis.


Marisa Hernández Latorre, Co-founder and CEO of Ingelia, then focused her speech on the importance of Innovation in a circular economy: How to transform organic waste into biomaterials in a profitable and sustainable way, contributing to the circular economy and to caring for the environment and creating jobs.


Delia García Gómez presented El Corte Inglés' agenda of sustainability actions to turn a large company into a large sustainable company.


Marta Ainsa Blanco, Director of Responsible Banking at Santander Spain, spoke about Responsible Banking, a global strategy in response to the needs and demands of stakeholders.


We would like to thank Santander for inviting us to participate in this interesting meeting and we hope to cooperate again on its sustainability strategy.
