The R&D project "Development of an organic waste biorefinery system based on hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) technology" carried out by Ingelia at its industrial plant located in Náquera has received financial support from IVACE, which in turn has FEDER funds (European Regional Development Fund), through a 45% grant.

The project was carried out between June 2019 and October 2020, with a budget of €85k, with the main objective of the project being to investigate the use of the different mass streams produced in the hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) process of organic waste with the aim of obtaining new bioproducts and improving the overall efficiency of the biorefinery model.
